TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Welcome in, or welcome back if you've been here before. I don't want to go into too too much detail about the direction things are going, but it'd be remiss of me to not share the gist. I've recently undertaken the sort of project (and that's what I've been calling it, The Project) that I've got to start now or I never will. I can't yet say exactly what The Project is because--at least in terms of its artistic purpose/s and/or classifications--its particular nature eludes definition at this time, although descriptions and prototypes of it have historically been described or designed herein and elsewhere--even anachronistically--and shall be shared over the course of its duration (NOTE: duration of The Project is TBD, but is potentially infinite, depending on the future navigation of logistics, legality, liability, and the willingness of relevant parties to participate). On a practical and pragmatic level, I'm going through 18-gallon Costco bins full of a variety of what I've been calling memorabilia, keepsakes, archives, artifacts. Following an initial survey of the scope of the aforementioned artifacts, I'm now in the process of categorizing them with the use of file folders with labels such as the following:
Not all artifacts are tangible enough to place in a file folder (and I mean to exclude computer files, of course):
I'm currently waiting on a DocSafe File Box with Lock, Multi-Layer Fireproof Document Box with Wheels, Collapsible Rolling File Storage Organizer Box with Pockets, Large Portable Home Office Filing Cabinet for Hanging Folders. It's "out for delivery." I'm drawn to that which can't be destroyed in a fire. Oh, my goodness! The file box just got here!
